If you feel sick/ill when it is hot, ask for help.
Drink plenty of water before you feel thirsty.
Don't hesitate to call the ambulance
You don't have to hesitate to call the ambulance. The health insurance will cover it or calling the ambulance itself can be free. Compare to the other western countries Japan's medical cost is more affordable and quicker.
Passport
Take your passport with you. An interpretor will be present at many hospitals. They will assist you over the phone. 24 hours.
If someone loses consciousness or is unable to drink independently, call an ambulance.
